SWA Expands Enclosure Consulting Services

SWA is excited to announce the expansion of our Building Enclosure Design and Consulting Services with the addition of four enclosure experts formerly of James R. Gainfort, AIA Consulting Architects (JRGAIA). JRGAIA provides enclosure consulting services to some of the most architecturally significant buildings in the country, including New York City’s Guggenheim Museum, The Clark in Williamstown, MA, and currently, The Culture Shed in Hudson Yards.

Since 2002, the Bryant Park Winter Village has been a popular attraction in New York during the holiday season. Keeping temporary structures comfortably warm in the NYC winter is no easy feat; even so, these structures can be a great application for energy efficient technology. This past winter, SWA, along with Green Star Energy and Fujitsu General America, tested the benefits of using VRF systems as an alternate to the conventional electrical resistance heating.

Proposed EnerPHit Factory Building in
